NEWS RELEASE
Indian pump manufacturing facility to surprise the European buyer
Coimbatore; 21 July 2008
They have an output of over 500000 units per year. Their facilities have ISO 9001, EMS 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certificates from DNV. They supply to large multinationals in India. They export to the USA, South Africa, the Middle East and Singapore. Some exports even go to Europe.
Yet, most European buyers will be unfamiliar, and Mr. Dharani, Partner and Global Business Manager, wants to surprise them.
The company is called Perfect Engineers. Their brand name is Paranaa. Pumps they produce are: Centrifugal, Submersible, Multistage, Sewage and pressure boosting pumps. They also offer customized pumps, as well as Ring frame and AC Induction Motors.
‘A tie up with European companies for mutual interest’ Mr. Dharani does not hide his goals for his first Aquatech participation this year in
Amsterdam. ‘I want European buyers to think ‘how come I missed these guys up until now’. Apart from all the above, Mr. Dharani is proud of the pump design department. ‘Our guys can really compete with Europeans on pump design as well. We made a huge effort here, as well as in research and development, and that is paying off now. When European buyers see our facilities and afterwards see the prices we offer them, they will even be more surprised’, Dharani is convinced.
He joined the CBI export coaching programme for Pipe and related products some years ago. CBI is a Dutch government agency promoting exports from developing countries. ‘We had some exports to Europe, but it was time for a long term focused effort to really make a difference for your European clients’ Mr. Dharani tells us. The first marketing event in this new ‘focus’ is the Aquatech exhibition at RAI Amsterdam from 30 Sep – 3 Oct this year. Perfect / Paranaa will be present in Hall 7, stand 400.
