Point Pumps; Indians offer surprising lead-times.

Coimbatore; 10 July 2008; Lead times, price and a wide range of good quality pumps. That is why European buyers should not ignore us’, C.E.O., Mr. Kannan Ramachandran tells us. On price he does not want to spend too many words. ‘What can I say, our prices are lower than in Europe, but I do not want to sound cheap’. When asked about lead times, he does have more words to spend. ‘We offer average lead-times of 3-4 weeks (excluding transport to Europe), and that is important. With these fast lead-times we really solve a very difficult problem for our customer’.

The Point Pumps brand is relatively new to the European market. The brand covers:

‘Since we are relatively new to the European market we would like to launch ourselves through CBI (Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries), a Dutch government agency’. ‘Through the export programme of CBI we know the high requirements of the European market we do have systems and infra structure in place to meet the growing demands.
