UK Capital Valves buys butterflies in South Africa

Many European companies are reluctant to admit they buy outside Europe. Not so, Capital Valves of the UK, winner of the 2006 queen’s award for enterprise (in international trade).

Capital is proud of their association with Gunric Valves from South Africa. And quite rightly, because they have been supplying excellent (soft seated) butterfly valves.

That is how they feel about it. That is how their customers feel about it.

Read the full success story on page 5 and 6 of the brochure you find on this link; http://www.cbi.eu/download/sub_document/CBI_VALVE_WORLD_DEF.pdf
A brochure on the Valve World exhibition next week in Maastricht (4, 5 and 6 November, MECC exhibition center)

Probably yes. But real love for a Darling you can only ever experience when you hug her (yes, this pump is definitely a lady).

Increased Pumping activities in Emerging Markets

On 1 October last CBI external expert Peter van der Sman gave a presentation on the ‘Increased Pumping activities in Emerging Markets’ (Aquastage presentation on the Aquatech exhibition) and how the (European) industry can profit from that.

In case you missed this presentation, click here, to hear what Peter van der Sman had to say about the outsourcing of pump manufacturing and the role of CBI (Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries) in this.

Great Success in Amsterdam. Next is Antwerp

MZT Pumpi pulled off a great promotion at last week’s Aquatech show. There were 3 lucky winners for free football tickets to the Holland – Macedonia football match next year. Click the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSsvk_kB1KY to see the prize draw.

Not everybody would be interested in tickets for a Holland match. This is for example the case with Belgians ;-).
To all Belgians (at least those interested in industrial pumps check; http://www.pumpi.com.mk/ for the exact range). From 15 – 17 October, MZT Pumpi will be exhibiting at the Pumps & Valves exhibition in the Antwerp Expo. And I guarantee you, no Dutch football tickets to be seen there, only pumps.

Their stand number is 1248.

Bearing cages make them spin

Most bearing manufacturers will know them as they had a prominent position in the bearing hall at the Hannover Messe in 2007. This Hannover Messe was a great success for them. Read the full story on http://www.cbi.eu/?pag=126&sector=34&tab=3, click ‘more’ under the heading ‘CBI Experience’.

They produce excellent:
- Cylindrical Roller Bearing cages (CRB cages)
- Spherical Roller Bearings (SRB cages)
- Ball Bearing cages (Ball cages)
- Needle Roller Bearing cages (NRB cages)
- Thrust Bearing cages (Thrust cages)

Samanjas Udyog is their name, perhaps a difficult name for Europeans, so just go to their website: http://www.bearing-cage.com/. Many already did.
