Hydroflex shows flexibility at Achema in Frankfurt

Ahmedabad, 13 February 2009; A large variety of stainless steel corrugated metallic flexible hoses and assemblies is manufactured by Hydroflex in the Indian state Gujarat. Hydroflex uses the austenitic steel grades AISI 304, 321, 316 and 316L. The hoses are offered from 6mm NB (1/4”) to 200mm NB (8”). Braiding, when needed is also provided, sometimes even 2 or 3 layers. Normally the braiding comes in SS 304 wire, but SS 316 and 321 is also available.

Quality testing
Hydroflex director Mr. Amit Patel explains us all hoses pass through stringent quality tests. ‘Every single hose-assembly is tested hydraulically at 1,5 times working pressure before dispatching’ Patel explains. Pneumatic testing is rigorously conducted and raw materials undergo rigid inspections as well. Flex fatigue or cycle life tests, burst pressure (yield) tests, bend radius and flame tests are also regularly conducted.
Hydroflex is ISO 9001:2000 accredited by DNV and BS6501: Part 1 accredited by Germanischer Lloyd.

Achema 2009 Frankfurt
In India Hydroflex is a reputed name, but ambitions reach further than India only. They joined the export coaching programme of Dutch government organization CBI (Centre for the Promotion of Imports from Developing Countries). This programme fully prepared them for every aspect of exporting to the European Union.From 11 – 15 May 2009 Hydroflex will be exhibiting at the Achema exhibition, the world largest exhibition on chemical engineering, environmental protection and Biotechnology. Hydroflex can be found on the CBI stand in Hall 9, Stand K12 – L15.
